Lapworth Scarecrow Festival 200813th & 14th September 2008 |

The festival this year was run by the Lapworth
Pre-School group who did a brilliant job of it and set an even higher standard to follow. They
sold 500 maps and it is thought that there were about 1500 visitors. £4200 was raised to support the pre-school. As usual, visitors were invited to vote for their favourites, and they
were:
The Pre-School group are planning to run the festival again next year, but will be taking a short break to recover! In the
mean time they will be thinking about themes for next year. They would really welcome your input on not only the theme but the festival in general. Please email any ideas to stuarthough@btinternet.com , or drop a note to J. Hough at 6 Lapworth Oaks, Lapworth.
